9/18/2023 0 Comments Simple sip and paint ideas![]() Apparently some of the ladies didn’t come because they said they were not artistic. I do wish I would’ve advertised that the watercolor is like a coloring page and that NO ARTISTIC ABILITIES are needed. A good tip is try to get sign-ups for food to help the budget and to get people to the activity haha!ĪLRIGHT, now that I got that little tid-bit out of the way, onto the actual activity! PAINT NIGHT! We played with this idea in my old ward and it never came together. It does make it a bit tough because you have a budget to stick to and you don’t want to be over-prepared or under-prepared. And then you aren’t as upset if it isn’t a good turnout or something doesn’t go right. I was VERY nervous about this activity, I wasn’t sure if anyone would come, or if EVERYONE would come because it was the first activity in forever! The motto I try to live by while in this calling, is to just do my best, get the word out, and whoever does come, needed to be there. The ladies that came didn’t seem too concerned about social distancing but were very respectful about it! We had people bring dinner trays to help with the distance situation. ![]() We planned it to be “social distanced”, we advertised that masks were not mandatory but they could wear one, and we placed our seats 6 feet from each other. ![]() ![]() Working carefully with the Relief Society & the Bishopbric we got permission to do an activity outside! It felt long overdue, it had been about 6 months since we last met. I was able to do one in February, my first one in this ward. This activity was our first one since COVID-19. ![]()
